Description
The pump utilizes a lightweight PPS, glass-filled plastic impeller, which minimizes bearing load and ensures better control of coolant flow at various RPMs. It is 130 grams lighter than the original, has a rolled edge gasket for improved sealing, and has been tested to operate effectively at 10,000 RPM.
The pump retains the same aluminum housing and deep impeller design as standard models but eliminates the bypass adapter, simplifying installation for setups without a bypass hose. This upgrade moves more coolant than the smaller impeller GWP132 and fits all 1275cc blocks along with most 998/1098 engines from 1969 onwards, with some modifications possible for early small bore blocks.
The pump is not suitable for twin-point engines, as they use an alternate bracket to mount the alternator.
