MK1 Mini door seals were unique in their size and sealing profile. Later-style seals are generally larger and can place unnecessary stress on the door hinges.
This seal is similar to the original all-rubber 24A1351 type but uses the later bulb-style profile. Although Rover supplied this later design, it did not have the same appearance or profile as the original MK1 seal.
This is one of the closest high-quality rubber seal profiles currently available and provides a good alternative where an original-style seal is required.
Rover originally used this type on 1977-on Mini Vans and Pick Ups. However, it is also preferred by many customers for use on MK1 and MK2 Minis as an alternative to the early OEM seal.
