Description
If your MKI or MKII is experiencing persistent "door handle sag," it’s likely that the interior door latch mechanisms are worn out. In a left-hand drive vehicle, the locking latch should be on the right side (the driver’s side where the key lock is located with the handle). For right-hand drive cars, the configuration is reversed. If your handle lifts to open the door, it means the latch is installed upside down! The latch shown here is the correct one for a right-hand drive vehicle.
