Description
The upgraded steering arm, originally designed for the Mk2-3 classic Mini Cooper S, is thicker and stronger than standard arms, making it an excellent replacement option for all Mk2-on Minis. When replacing the steering rack on a Mk1 Mini, new steering arms will be necessary, as Mk1s used a different angle and longer rack that are no longer available. The Mk2 steering arms must be paired with a Mk2 or newer rack and are compatible with any Mini from 1967 onward, offering an improved turning ratio compared to the earlier Mk1 models.
