Description
Originally developed by Rover to cut down on warranty hourly costs on powertrain warranty repairs, by their main dealers.-Labor time allowed at Rover dealers for fitting this seal was 3.4 hours. This is a special rigid seal and can be pushed in without stripping the engine from the gearbox. RTV must be used when fitting this seal, a decent blob needs squirting at each end of the seal, as per the instructions in the Rover service manual
