Description
Primary gear thrust washers are available in various sizes to eliminate excess end play. The standard clearance should measure between 0.003" and 0.006". For different thickness options, refer to part numbers DAM6486, DAM6487, DAM6489, DAM6490, and DAM6492.
This specific type is designed exclusively for the 1275cc crankshaft, which features a raised step for the primary gear seating. For racing applications, the clearance can be increased by an additional 0.003".
Each thrust washer measures between 0.112-114”(2.84-2.89mm). The stated measurement includes a tolerance of ±0.001", resulting in a total variation of two thousandths of an inch across the part numbers.
