Description
This oil seal, introduced in 1991 with the first injection models and HIF38 carb versions, features an internal spring positioned further back to manage increased crankcase pressure. All Verto clutches using this seal were equipped with a plastic protector shield (DAM2821), which can be added to any clutch seal. The improved Viton seal is compatible with any manual-shift classic Mini, MG1100, and Austin America, effectively preventing crankshaft rear main seal leaks. If you currently have the red seal, this black seal is an upgraded version that fits significantly tighter.
