This kit is suitable for 1979 to 1998 - includes MK1 SPi
How to tell if you need is a 1979 to 1998 kit, Does your engine still got the steel pipe that goes from the oil filter housing to the top left hand corner of the engine block (when viewed from the front looking in to the engine bay) and does it have Pot joint drive shafts? if then you will need this kit, if yours doesn't then you would need the following kit
