This pin fits into the front subframe to mount the bottom arm. It gets is strange shape from the need to give the drive shaft room to move.

Warning pin must be correctly fitted and fully home in the frame before the bolt is torqued, caution, over torqueing or using the nut to try and pull the pin into place can strip the thread. Always install with a new lock nut 3/8 UNF
