Description
Idler gear shims for Pre A Plus gearboxes with 0.750" (19mm) diameter shafts.
Two (2) shims are needed per gearbox.
The shims must be installed with the correct clearance—typically between 3 to 6 thousandths of an inch, as specified in the workshop manuals. For reliable performance, a clearance of 3 thousandths for road use and 4 thousandths for racing has been found to be effective.
