Description

Ensure a perfect fit and reliable seal for your Mini's windshield with our premium Rubber Seal, compatible with all Mini models. This essential component is designed to safeguard against leaks while maintaining the aesthetic appeal of your vehicle.**Key Features:**- **Versatile Compatibility**: Suitable for all Mini windshields, providing a dependable fit for classic and modern models alike.- **Locking Strip Options**: The seal works seamlessly with either locking strip 24A1466 (chrome) or 37H8052 (black), giving you the flexibility to choose the style that best suits your Mini.- **Important Installation Advice**: For best results, fit the rubber directly onto the body of the vehicle first. Avoid the string method for installation, as it can stretch and damage the rubber, leading to ineffective sealing.**Considerations for Wider Seals**: A later model rubber, part number CCB10011MS, was fitted to cars from 1992 to 2000. While this wider seal (measuring 40mm) helps in reducing leaks, it is more prone to holding water, potentially leading to rust unless a high-quality sealant is applied.**Maintenance Reminder**: Although replacing windscreen seals can be a challenging task, it's crucial to check and change all rubbers and seals periodically. The frequency of replacement should depend on the vehicle's exposure to various activities, temperature fluctuations, and storage conditions. When installed, our rubber seal measures 28mm in width.
