Description
When the Verto clutch was introduced, a plastic protector was fitted over the clutch oil seal on Metro models and later on injection Minis with the LUF10005 clutch seal until the end of production. This protector should be replaced during disassembly as it can become brittle over time. The dust seal presses onto the splines of the primary gear to prevent clutch dust from wearing the rear main oil seal and can be retrofitted to earlier clutch assemblies.
