Genuine-style Mk3 door seal manufactured to the correct length and featuring all original cut-outs, drain holes, and relief openings in the proper locations. Unlike generic bulk rubber sold by many accessory suppliers, these seals are produced to the original specification for easier installation and a proper fit.
The Mk3 seal is distinguished by its larger sealing bulb, which is specifically designed to match the door gap found on Mk3 and later Minis. This larger bulb provides excellent sealing against wind and water intrusion. Using the smaller Mk1/Mk2 seal on a Mk3 can result in poor sealing and increased wind noise, while fitting a Mk3 seal to a Mk1 or Mk2 can make the doors difficult to close.
These original-style seals offer a significantly better fit than simple cut-length alternatives and include all the details that make installation straightforward and trouble-free.
Originally fitted to Minis up to the introduction of the twin-point injection models in 1996. Later vehicles used a split-type seal designed to better retain the interior trim, but these seals can still be used as a cost-effective replacement option.
