Adjustable suspension trumpet kit for Classic Minis, including four precision-machined alloy trumpets and the two extended rear struts required for installation. Manufactured in the UK from high-quality 6082-T6 hardened aluminum, this kit provides a cost-effective solution for adjusting and restoring your Mini's ride height.
The primary advantage of adjustable suspension trumpets is the ability to accurately set ride height at each corner of the car. This allows compensation for sagging rubber suspension cones, improves vehicle stance, and enables more precise corner-weight balancing for enhanced handling characteristics.
Unlike the original "Hi-Lo" suspension system, which features a specially designed concave seat to optimize rubber cone operation and reduce road noise transmission, these budget-performance trumpets use a more conventional design. While they do not offer the same level of refinement or suspension cone efficiency as genuine Hi-Los, they provide excellent value and reliable ride height adjustment for road and competition use.
